Atrescin is the combination of two components as Artemether & Lumafentrine which is an anti-malarial medicine.  Malaria is an infection caused by mosquito bites by female mosquito. Such infection enters into the body and parasites lives in body tissue such as liver or blood cells. The combination has good gametocidal properties which destroys gametocytes. Atrescin is used for treatment of acute uncomplicated malaria infections due to Plasmodium falciparum. Atrescin works to harm the parasite and fight the infection which do complete care and avoid relapse. It is use in adults and children at least 2 months old or who have weight at least 11 pounds (5 kilograms). This medication is used only to treat malaria & not to use to prevent malaria.

What are the special dietary instructions to take during course of medicine?

Do not consume grapefruit juice.

What happened if I forget to take dose?

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember but do not take it if next dose schedule at nearby time. Let the dose skip and continue with regular schedule.

Dose is safe to take this medicine during pregnancy?

It is not safe to take upto first three months as it may cause fetal loss.

What will do if any other medication is going on?

Sulquin works efficiently by killing those parasites and stops the infection from spreading into body. It is used alone or with other medicines to treat uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria. Other than it is very useful in nighttime leg cramps & its prevention. Along with it also works as a muscle relaxant and muscle cramp associated with other health issues. 

Usage:  Sulquin have Quinin Sulphate as an active ingredient which is anti-malarial drug. Malaria is triggered by a type of parasite which is referred to as plasmodium falciparum. This parasite is carried by female mosquitoes. Mosquito bite caused such parasite enter into the body and live in body cells. Sulquin kills those parasites from the cell as well as prevent their growth. Thus it helps to recover from malaria. Along with this it also helps to reduce leg cramp, facial palsy, restless leg syndrome and other similar health issues. Dosages of this medicine are depending upon medical condition, age and severity of disease or as prescribe by doctor. Take it with food to avoid stomachache. Usually it should take after every 8 hours within 3 to 7 days or as suggested by doctor according to severity.

No, it is not recommended during pregnancy as it may harm to unborn baby.

Medicine should use with caution if having impaired kidney function. If the impairment is very severe then consult your doctor before start use of the medicine.

Can I stop medicine if I feel better?

No, do not stop medicine during course given by doctor. Symptoms may be occurred if medicine stop before course completed.
