Dexarib 0.5mg Tablets

Dexarib have generic Dexamethasone which is belongs to corticosteroid class of drug. It is used to reduce swelling associated with various conditions such as arthritis, allergic disorders, psoriasis, etc. It prevents release of certain substances which cause inflammation. It is used for other conditions like adrenal hormonal insufficiency, certain types of anemia, cerebral edema, etc. It is essentially treats nerve pain like trigeminal neuralgia as well as diabetic neuropathy. Moreover, the drug also effectively treats bipolar disorder. It works as an anticonvulsant and decreases the occurrence of abnormal nerve impulses in the brain which can lead to severe reactions like seizures and acute pain.

Usage:  Dexarib is corticosteroid class of medicine which treats different types of inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, psoriasis, ulcerative colitits, allergic disorders etc. It reduces swelling and inflammation cause by other medical conditions. Dosage is depending upon medical condition, allergic reaction, age and severity. Do not stop or discontinue any dose which is prescribed by the doctor. Even if symptoms goes away after few dose keep continuing full course of medicine as per suggested by doctor. It may reverse or worse if course stop suddenly without doctor’s permission.

What happened if I missed dose?

Do not take missed dose if next dose is at nearby time. Let the dose skipped out and continue with next dose but do not take two doses at a same time. It may cause serious effect on health. Consult your doctor for more suggestion.

It is does not make any life threatening effect on any overdose. Only long term use of this medicine impacts of health.

Is it safe to drink alcohol 

Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine.

No, it is not recommended to receive live vaccine while taking this medicine. During this medication, vaccine may not fully work or protect from disease. Live vaccines include rubella (MMR), mumps, polio, typhoid, chickenpox, zoster etc..
