Scinflox have an active ingredients as Ciprofloxacin which is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections that affect the skin, joints, lungs, ear, nose, bones or urinary tract. It is also used to treat severe bacterial infections including pneumonia, respiratory or urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, anthrax, gastroenteritis as well. It is effective against a large number of bacteria. It kills or prevents the growth of bacteria in the body. Scinflox tablet inhibits the regular synthesis of bacterial DNA, obstructing the process of their cell division. Therefore it destroys the existing bacteria that are causing the infection and it inhibits the growth of new bacteria. It should be used to treat bacterial infections only. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses.
Usage : This medication is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Ciprofloxacin belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for virus infections. Consume one tablet daily at the same time as per prescribed course days with or without food. Swallow the whole tablet, do not crush or chew or break it. Drink plenty of liquids while taking this medicine.
